Valencia Basket creates the "Coach Experience" as a new value for training days

L'Alqueria del Basket maintains its commitment to provide a top level training for coaches open to all. And if last year there was already a leap in the quality thanks to the university accreditation of the conference through the Basketball Chair of L'Alqueria del Basket with the University of Valencia, this year there will be an added value that will offer coaches the most complete experience possible as a coach: Valencia Basket Coach Experience.

 

In addition to the usual option of attending the clinics, or attending them online, at a price of 12 euros with the best possible speakers, we’re adding the possibility of further improving the training received. Pleople who wish may opt for the Coach Experience, thus having access to a complete training developed in the Club before the clinic, with a discussion at the end of it with the coach who directs it, thus having the option to ask him about the work developed. People who wish to live this experience will be able to do so for only 6 euros more, that is, 18 euros for the full day.

 

In addition, this year, as another of the main novelties, all those registered for either of the two options will receive digital material related to the topics covered in the clinic. And as usual, the hours will continue to be valid for FEB and FBCV coaches courses, being 4 hours per day for those who opt for the Coach Experience. A new leap in level to offer the most complete training.

 

Start with Ferrán Pizcueta on October 21st

We won't have to wait long to experience the first training day of the season. Next Thursday, October 21, the clinics will begin with a high-level speaker, Ferran Pizcueta. The current coach of the taronja youth teams will share his experience on the "Development of generic and specific motor skills with tactical intentionality prior to tactical and creative thinking in basketball", applied to minibasket. A talk that will delve into the importance of motor development prior to early specialization in collective sports, which will take place in the main court of L'Alqueria at 20:30h.

 

About Ferran Pizcueta

With experience in EBA and National League as coach and technical director in different Valencian clubs, the current Valencia Basket youth coach has also been Director of the Academies of Marina Ferragut, Víctor Claver and FP Unlimited Basketball. Coach in training categories FBCV and FEB, he was responsible and teacher of the Training and Tactics Area of the coaching courses of the Valencian Federation and also collaborated in the scouting of the FC Barcelona youth academy as well as in the specific work of male and female players in various professional leagues.

 

Coach Experience with Héctor Rosa

Those registered who choose this option will start the Coach Experience with a coach of the renowned experience of Héctor Rosa, currently coach of the U18 women's youth team B, whose work they will be able to follow in a complete training session, at the end of which they will be able to talk with him and comment on all the details they consider. The Coach Experience will start at 19:15h in the main court.
