FEB and L'Alqueria Basketball Chair join forces to boost training

Valencia Basket and the Spanish Basketball Federation have reached an agreement by which FEB will accredit, as a training complement to its Coaching courses, the training activities organized by the Basketball Chair of L'Alqueria del Basket together with the University of Valencia. These activities include clinics, seminars of transversal areas, congresses or conferences.

In this way, all those students who are taking the coaching courses organized by the FEB, will be able to compute the attendance to the clinics organized by Valencia Basket as valid activities within their curricular obligations, both in the classroom format and in the online option. 

The participation in the lectures already counted until now with the certification of the University of Valencia and the support of the Basketball Federation of the Valencian Community. The activities are also still valid to compute their hours as practices for the FBCV coaching courses.

L'Alqueria del Basket Basket Basketball Chair

The Universitat de València and L'Alqueria del Basket launched in 2019 the first specific basketball chair at national level, under the name of Cátedra de Baloncesto L'Alqueria del Basket. An agreement that certifies the collaboration between both entities, which is a huge step in the goal of promoting research and innovation in basketball, improving training, and sharing knowledge, two of the main pillars of L'Alqueria LAB, the new department of the home of European basketball training.
