The training sessions for coaches of the Basketball Chair of L'Alqueria del Basket also continue in March. This clinic, organized as always together with the University of Valencia and the support of Bankia, will have Daniel Gómez Otero as a guest.

 

Next Wednesday, March 17 at 20:00h, the Spanish coach will illustrate the coaches present in a clinic that can be followed both in person at L'Alqueria del Basket -if the health situation allows it- and online, one of the novelties of this year's program. It can be watched live and recorded. Those coaches who want to validate the hours with the FBCV courses must watch it live.

 

Daniel Gómez Otero will share his knowledge on the subject: "Playing from the pick away", an offensive option that offers many possibilities in the attack. 

 

Daniel is an individual coach of big player development in ACB, Euroleague and NBA leagues and is currently working as an "International Scout" in the Phoenix Suns franchise. Among his previous experiences in Spain, he was assistant coach of Movistar Estudiantes in ACB, Sports Director of Baloncesto Torrelodones, as well as Tutor and coordinator of the tactical area of the Coaching School of the Basketball Federation of Madrid. Internationally, he coached Portland Trail Blazers in Training Camp Summer League and coached in NBA Basketball Without Borders and Jordan Brand Classic.

 

The participation in the talk, has this year as a novelty with the certification of the University of Valencia. On the other hand, it continues to have the support of the Basketball Federation of the Valencian Community and the activity will be valid to compute their hours as practices of the FBCV coaching courses.
