Team Mambo Andalucía wins the first FIBA 3x3 tournament of 2022 in L’Alqueria del Basket

Last weekend L'Alqueria del Basket was filled with 3x3 basketball. Valencia Basket facilities hosted on Sunday a 3x3 tournament sponsored by Vitaldin and scoring for FIBA, which left great sensations and expectations to grow in future celebrations. Team Mambo Andalucía was proclaimed champion of the tournament.

 

Initially, a total of ten high level teams participated. In the group stage, the spectators were able to enjoy very tight games, with a high level of contact and giving a glimpse of what the 3x3 competition will be like next season.

 

From the group stage, four teams advanced to the semifinals. Team Mambo Andalucía faced Kenny Bell and, on the other hand, B-Ball Center against Golden Lefty. Both semifinals were very tight and in the final, Team Mambo Andalucía faced B-Ball Center.

 

In that final match B-Ball Center, team from Valencia, played with only three players and, in addition, one of them was injured in the middle of the game. A circumstance that allowed Team Mambo Andalucía to get a comfortable victory 21-6, although the scoreboard did not reflect the hardness of the tournament.
