Valencia Basket launches the first edition of its new Christmas tournament, the “Somnis Cup,” which will take place on December 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2025, at L’Alqueria del Basket. A tournament with the Valencia Basket seal that will bring together some of the best minibasket teams at both national and international levels. A great opportunity to promote coexistence and friendship among players from different places, to encourage the values of effort, respect, and teamwork, and to boost sports tourism in the City of Turia.

 

The tournament is designed for all teams to enjoy a high-level sporting experience. It will begin with a group stage, ensuring that each team plays several games, followed by knockout rounds and finals, where the best teams will compete for the trophy. Each team will play a minimum of four games, with referees and table officials on all courts. Results and standings will be available in real time through the Swish App, allowing players and families to follow the tournament from any device.

REGISTRATION 

Facilities

All games will take place at L’Alqueria del Basket, a facility that features nine indoor courts and four outdoor courts. This infrastructure guarantees that, regardless of the weather, the tournament will take place in perfect conditions. In addition to the courts, L’Alqueria offers modern locker rooms, a cafeteria, rest areas, and spaces for families and companions, making it the ideal venue for an event of this scale.

ACB Experience

One of the most exciting moments of the Somnis Cup will be the visit to Roig Arena to attend a Liga Endesa game of Valencia Basket. All teams will have the opportunity to enjoy this activity, which allows participants to experience professional basketball up close, see their idols in action, and feel the unique atmosphere of the Roig Arena.

Fan Zone 

Players will also enjoy more fun experiences off the court in the Somnis Cup Fan Zone, a central meeting and entertainment space featuring:

 

·         Artificial Intelligence spaces, where players can take original and personalized photos..

·         Chill-out area and contest/game zone, a place designed to relax, play, and share time with other teams.

1. Participation only – €60 per athlete

Includes:

2. Participation + Accommodation at Casa Don Bosco (Godelleta) – €290 per athlete

Includes: 

·         Participation in the tournament.

·         2 nights of accommodation (check-in Saturday 27th, check-out Monday 29th).

·         Bus transfers between accommodation and L’Alqueria del Basket.

·         Full board meals at L’Alqueria del Basket (with picnic on the last day).

·         24-hour assistance from the organizing staff.

·         Official Welcome Pack for all players.

·         Ticket to the VBC vs MoraBanc Andorra game at the Roig Arena.
