Valencia Basket joins the new U22 League created jointly by ACB, FEB, and CSD. In this way, the club gives its second team a new structure, severing ties with L'Horta Godella, through which it participated in the 2nd FEB competition, and will no longer have a team in the 3rd FEB. Therefore, it will now compete in this new U22 League with players under the age of 22.


This decision will allow these players to train and compete with greater guarantees before making the leap to professional basketball, not only with compatibility with other competitions and tournaments, both ACB and U18, but also combining sport with studies through scholarships. These are facilities that did not exist with the 2nd and 3rd FEB competitions.


The Valencia Basket roster will consist of four U22 players and 12 U18 players. The staff will be headed by Gonzalo Muinelo, with José Nácher and Carlos Silla as assistants. Edu Pérez will serve as strength and conditioning coach and Agustí Girbés as physiotherapist. The team will play its home games on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at the L'Alqueria del Basket central court.
