U16 teams revalidate the title in the Autonomous Final Phase

Valencia Basket u16 teams revalidate the title achieved last season and are proclaimed, twice, regional champions in the Final Phases played in Almussafes and Mislata. The achievement of the titles gives access to the taronjas teams to the Spanish Club Championship 2025 to be played between 18 and 24 May in the cities of San Fernando and Cadiz. The female u16 B was at the gates of access to the Championship of Spain, finishing in a great third position in the Autonomous Final Phase; being the first two classified the ones that access to the national championship.

 

The male u16 team did not know the defeat in the competition, winning their three games against CD Don Bosco (36-76), Shipping Transport UPB Gandia (13-54) and Lucentum Alicante (108-79). The men's team showed a great strength in their game, the result of the great work done throughout the season.

 

For its part, the female team was no less. The Taronja players came out of the Autonomous Final Phase undefeated, winning the title after getting rid of Lucentum Alicante (14-54), NBF Castelló (19-59) and Valencia Basket u16 B (63-23). Lydia Muñoz's girls put the finishing touch to a great regional season that will allow them to fight for the title of champions of Spain. Valencia Basket player Anastasia Lishchuk was recognized as the Best Player of the Final Phase.

 

Both teams are a true reflection of the perseverance, sacrifice and hard work carried out by players and coaches from Valencia Basket and L'Alqueria del Basket.
