L'Alqueria del Basket has hosted for the fourth time the Preliminary Phase of the Minicopa Endesa, between Monday 6th and Wednesday 8th December. The U14 teams of sixteen Endesa League clubs sought to win one of the six places in contention for the Final Phase, to be held during the Copa del Rey in Granada 2022. As there is no host team in this knockout tournament, Barça and Real Madrid, the champion and runner-up, respectively, of the 2020 edition, the last one played, have already qualified for the Final Phase. The teams that won these places are Valencia Basket, UCAM Murcia, Catalana Occident Manresa, Unicaja Andalucía, Cajasiete Canarias and Joventut Badalona.
