The Valencia Basket model crosses borders. The good results of both first teams and the  youth teams in L'Alqueria del Basket, continue generating a growing interest beyond the limits of our continent. In these circumstances, Assist Basketball, presents in Australia, an inaugural series of basketball camps designed to involve, challenge and motivate players to take their game to the next level.    

With coaches of the Eurocup 2019 champion as special guests, it will be a unique experience that will expose players to a European style of training and development that has produced a large number of international and NBA players. As it could not be otherwise under the values ​​of the "Culture of Endeavour" of the club, the camp will focus, not only on the skills and the fundamentals of the game, but also on the approach and mentality to succeed inside and outside from the court.    

The camps are already open for players from 10 to 17 years old, who are willing to learn and already have an intermediate level of basketball experience. Thanks to the support of Basketball Victoria and the associated basketball associations in the aussie country, there will be up to 8 working days in different venues from July 1 to 10, so those interested will have a choice to go one step further in their development. Also for coaches    

Assist Basketball will also offer fruit of this collaboration, several free coaches development conferences. The objective for the attending coaches is to learn a European approach to the development of basketball with two highly respected coaches, who have contributed to the success of the Valencia Basket Club championship in Eurocup and ACB. In this case they will be Juan Maroto, assistant coach of the first team and Juanjo Rojo, trainer of the male U16A, those who will share concepts.   

During these sessions a variety of topics will be covered, including the development of fundamental skills, drills of offensive / defensive decision-making and shooting, among other things. The conferences are open to coaches of all levels and experience who are willing to continue their journey of learning.
