L'Alqueria Coach Experience returns with new features

Valencia Basket starts a new season of L'Alqueria Coach Experience, an activity that kicked off last season. A programme that forms part of the Club's wide range of training activities, such as the coaches' days or the transversal seminars, all under the auspices of the Basketball Chair together with the Universitat de València.

 

As a novelty, if last year a coach was in charge of directing all the sessions, this year it will be coaches from different departments of L'Alqueria del Basket who will participate each week. Coaches who wish to do so will have the opportunity to attend the Coach Experience which includes:.

 

  • Attendance at a training session of a youth team (45 minutes).
  • Discussion and question time with the coach (15 minutes).
  • Dossier with didactic material in PDF format.

 

These are the next confirmed schedules and trainers:.

  • 24 October from 19:00 to 20:45 (male youth team) Vicent Revert.
  • 15 November from 18:15 to 19:15 (strength and conditioning) Víctor Perez.
  • 12 December from 19:00 to 20:45 (female youth team) Marta Sorlí.

 

In addition, the activity is organised in collaboration with the FBVC and other territorial federations, so it can be counted as hours of coaching courses. The training will also be certified and accredited by the UV Basketball Chair.
