Valencia Basket's summer Camps and Schools have once again had a great reception this summer. The Calvestra and Tecnificación Femenina Camps, the Dave Love Shooting Academy and the L'Alqueria del Basket and Mas Camarena Schools have resulted in a successful participation in a summer still marked by the COVID-19. All of them have ended having ensured the health of attendees and workers.

 

The summer period started with the 32nd edition of the Camp at the Calvestra Leisure and Rural Tourism Center. Five shifts, the first starting on June 27 and the last ending on July 30, were completed with a total of 700 players. The fourth Women's Technification Camp once again sold out, occupying the 90 places available in the two shifts it included. The first edition of the Dave Love Shooting Academy did not disappoint with 83 players participating.

 

The L'Alqueria del Basket and Mas Camarena Schools during the month of July were also very well received, in a flexible format in which players could sign up for weeks, single days or half days. The fourth edition of the School at the Valencia Basket facilities was enjoyed by up to 250 children. For its part, the School at the Mas Camarena sports center celebrated its premiere with 45 players.

 

During all these Camps and Schools, Valencia Basket made available to the registered players all the necessary hygienic measures, in accordance with the current recommendations imposed by the health authorities. These measures allowed to close the Camps and Schools with almost 1200 places in the different activities that were developed without any incident, demonstrating, once again, the Club's ability to ensure the health of both young people and workers.
