The training at the European basketball house by the Basketball Chair of L’Alqueria del Basket goes far beyond the court. The conferences organized together with the University of Valencia reach all the areas that involve our sport and this November there will be a high-level first appointment that will be a clear example of this: the first training seminar in transversal areas, with psychology as the protagonist.

Next Saturday November 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., three experts in sports psychology will share their knowledge, in a very complete experience, led by the Personal Development Area of ​​L’Alqueria, led by Paco Pardo. The aim is to offer resources and strategies in this area, always applied to youth training sport.

Paco Pardo will be precisely the one who will be opening the day. "Behaviors that favor the transmission of values" is the theme chosen by Paco who, in addition to being the head of the Area, is a psychologist specialized in educational and sport psychology, with a master's degree in high performance psychology and basketball coach. David Llopis, psychologist specialized in sport and physical activity, Director of the Personal Development Area of ​​Levante UD School and Director of the Master's Degree in Psychology and Sports Coaching at Florida Universitaria, will address from 11:15 am “The coach and the development of the player as a way to reach maximum performance”. Finally, Juan González, head of the Sports Psychology Area of ​​the Spanish Cycling Federation who worked at Elche CF and in the Men's Volleyball Super League, as well as being a professor at the University of Granada, will speak at 12:45 pm about “Boys and girls. Your understanding of the sport. Psychological aids and barriers”.
