  • 20 / 10 / 2026

Next Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., L’Alqueria del Basket will host a new training session aimed at coaches, professionals, and students in the world of basketball, featuring Javi Torralba and Mireia Capdevila, head coach and assistant coach of Valencia Basket’s women’s team.

The event, part of the Valencia Innovation Days, is organized by L’AlqueriaLab and the Basketball Chair at L’Alqueria del Basket of the University of Valencia, with the goal of bringing the experience of professional basketball closer to coaches and fostering the exchange of knowledge.

The event will feature two professionals with distinguished careers:

  • Javi Torralba: current head coach of Valencia Basket’s women’s team. He has extensive experience in training and talent development, notably during his time leading the Segle XXI technical training center, where he contributed to the growth of numerous international players.
  • Mireia Capdevila: assistant coach of Valencia Basket’s women’s team. She previously served on the coaching staff of CB Tizona in the FEB First Division and has experience coaching in the youth categories of the Spanish national team.

This is an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the experience and vision of two high-level basketball professionals.
