Isabel Hernández and Amelia Alonso will have their names inscribed on the Mur dels Somnis
  • 26 / 09 / 2026

Since the opening of L’Alqueria del Basket, the Mur dels Somnis has been a very special part of the facility. Located at the main entrance to the center court, it features a list of players who have made their debut with Valencia Basket’s first team in the top national division or in an international match, after having spent the two years prior to their debut in the club’s youth teams.

Many players have already had their names inscribed on the Mur dels Somnis since the facility was created. On the women’s side, names include Lorena Segura, Claudia Contell, and Awa Fam, while on the men’s side, players such as Lucas Marí, Sergio de Larrea, and Jorge Carot have had their names inscribed.

The same is now true for Isabel Hernández and Amelia Alonso, who will join this list. The U18 players made their debut with Valencia Basket’s women’s first team in the LF Endesa Super Cup semifinal in Torrejón de Ardoz. Thus, Isabel and Amelia will be the fifteenth and sixteenth players to be included in L’Alqueria’s Mur dels Somnis since its creation.

Requirements for Inclusion in the Mur dels Somnis

The requirements that a Valencia Basket player must meet to be recognized in the Mur are as follows:

•        The Club defines youth categories as the children’s, cadet, and junior levels.

•        The debut must take place in an official competition—European or national at the highest level—with the First Team (friendly matches are not counted).

•        The player must have played in the Club’s youth categories for the two years prior to their debut with the First Team.

•        If a player makes their debut before completing two years on a youth team but continues to train at the Club until they subsequently meet that requirement, it will be their participation in official competition after that point that is taken into account for inclusion on the Mur dels Somnis.
